Director/Coach Tom Coons(Carmel HS Coach / CDC Hounds Youth Coach / DeSmet HS Coach / Former D3 Midfielder)
A 1989 Nazareth College graduate where he earned first team All Conference honors all four years, and was named the first team Captain of Nazareth College Lacrosse in 1986 through 1989. Tom has been coaching youth lacrosse since graduating from college, and was fortunate enough to coach at DeSmet High School in St. Louis, Mo from 1990 to 1998. DeSmet was a new program in 1990, but quickly had success winning 3 Missouri State titles by 1998. Coach Coons recently led the Carmel HS Varsity team to it's first Indiana State Title in 2011, and led the team to a 14-1 season.
Tom was also instrumental in starting the Carmel Dads Club lacrosse program that has grown from 58 kids in 2003 to over 500 in 2009. Tom has coached the Carmel travel teams for 6 years and has had good success achieving 117 wins and 12 losses. His hope is to share his knowledge, and those of other qualified players and coaches, with all youth lacrosse players around in Indiana. Coach Coons recently led the Carmel HS Varsity team to it's first Indiana State Title in 2011, and led the team to a 14-1 season.
Tim Clark
Tim has served with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), National Youth Sports Corporation (NYSC) and several collegiate institutions. At the NCAA, he developed and managed unique programs to support the leadership development of student-athletes across the country and held titles of youth programs coordinator and assistant director of education outreach. For NYSC, he held the positions of assistant director of youth programs and director of youth sports initiatives. Before his work with the NCAA and NYSC, he spent several years coaching at the NCAA Divisions I and III collegiate levels in the sports of football and lacrosse. His last collegiate coaching position was as a head lacrosse coach for The College of Wooster, Wooster, Ohio.
His interests outside of his professional career has involved work with the Unity through Sports Program (USPORT) where he has traveled abroad and given leadership and sports skills training to youth coaches and student-athletes. He has applied his practical, organizational and communication skills to the development and implementation of a variety of events and projects with companies and organizations such as the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), Coaches Choice and Healthy Learning, American College of Sports Medicine, Special Olympics USA, Circle City Classic and others.
He is active in his community as a youth lacrosse coach, official, board member and leader; serves as president of the Indiana Chapter of US Lacrosse and co-founder and past president of the Indiana Youth Lacrosse Association; serves on the US Lacrosse Board Development Committee. Some of his past accomplishments have been lacrosse player on a New York State High School Boy’s Lacrosse Championship Team and four NCAA Division III Men’s Lacrosse Championship Teams; graduate of NCAA’s Leadership Institute for Ethnic Minority Males; several recognition awards. He enjoys participating in athletic activities, reading, traveling and spending time with his wife and son.
Defense - Brant Howell
Brant is a native of Seattle, Washington, he played defense and long-stick mid-field for Mercer Island High School before graduating in 2006 and moving east to play lacrosse for the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. He led his high-school team to three consecutive State-Championships and earned All-State Honors his junior and senior year. Brant won two league titles with the Fighting Irish and was National Runner-Up in his final season. Brant is a 2010 graduate of The University of Notre Dame.
Midfield - Bill Conway
Bill is a 2006 graduate of Purdue University where he played lacrosse. He also played lacrosse at Carmel High School as Captain in 2002, First Team All State in 2002. He was co-head coach of the Hounds from 2007 - 2008. He is married and has a daughter.
Midfield - Alonso Miller

Alonso is a graduate of Ball State University class of 2006, Bachelors of Arts in Telecommunications with a concentration in multimedia, technology and sales. He is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. He has a military background as a Veteran of the US Navy, Fleet Marine Force Hospital Corpsman.
At Ball State he was a 4 year starter as a midfielder and face-off specialist. In 2010 he was a member of the 2010 Team Spain at the Lacrosse World Championships in Manchester, England. He is currently a member of Team Empire Men's Lacrosse Club in Indianapolis.
Defense - Nick Kennedy
(Former Carmel HS player / College Defenseman)
Nick is heading into his senior year at DePauw University where he will lead the young program in its third season as the Player/Coach and Captain this upcoming spring. As a Defensemen and Long Stick Midfielder for the Tigers, Nick has helped lead the program to consecutive winning records in its first two seasons. While attending Carmel High School, Nick earned the Indiana High School Lacrosse Association Academic All-American honor during his senior season in 2006. Along with receiving Carmel’s MVP Award that same season, he was voted by his teammates as the player who best exemplifies Carmel Lacrosse. As a Long Stick Midfielder for Carmel, Nick earned All-State honors all four years and was Captain of the team in 2006. Since beginning to play lacrosse nine years ago, Nick has been unable to get away from the sport and looks forward to his continued involvement through coaching and hopes to pass on his knowledge of the game to young players so that they might be able to bring Indiana Lacrosse to a higher level.
